Loredana Novotni WIP

            Work in Progress înseamnă pentru studenţii programelor de Master Design Vestimentar  la UAD Cluj înţelegerea şi asumarea evoluţiei avantgardei problematicilor de cercetare ale domeniului şi în special fenomenului fuziunii formelor de Artă şi Design. Prin studierea contextului în care urmează să se dezvolte munca lor ei experimentează, dezvoltând o dată cu o practică artistică şi de proiectare abilităţi de a reflecta critic asupra propriei opere şi a creaţiei într-un sens mai larg.
            Interdisciplinaritatea şi fuziunea formelor de artă şi design, noile tehnologii, frontierele dintre arte şi alte domenii reprezintă dimensiunile cele mai provocatoare ale creaţiei contemporane.
            Cercetarea vizează cu predilecţie interogarea relaţiei dintre ARTĂ, DESIGN şi SFERA PUBLICĂ reflectate în exigenţele specializării şi cu peisajul conceptual şi perspectivele evoluţiei acestuia.




ENGLISH:
            Work in Progress means to the MA in Fashion Design students of UAD Cluj to understand and assume the evolution of avandgarde research issues of the domain of studies, and especially the fusion of Art and Designs forms. Adressing the context where their career is about to develop, they undertake experimental work developing project based design and artistic practice, critical self reflecting abilities, contextualising their work in a wider social and professional frame.
           Interdisciplinarity and Art and Design forms fusion , new technologies, frontiers among Art and the other domains were the most provocative aspects of contemporary creation.
          The main stream of the research reflects the relation in between Art, Design and the Public Sphere reflected in the disciplines and related to the evolution of the conceptual landscape.

For those of you who may want to explore one of her lighter collections. Loredana Novotni’s Sailor Lolita collection is the perfect choice. It is fun, youthful, sexy, and charming to say the least. I LOVE this line because it is whimsical but also sleek and modern. Many of the items are ready to wear and I wish they were available in a US retailer. Loredana Novotni is a shinning star who will only grow brighter as her body of work increases.

Alina Alexoi wears ´´Gheisa´´ by Loredana Novotni, on TVR2

           Alina Alexoi, comentator, prezentator şi realizator de emisiuni sportive, poartă în cadrul finalelor Campionatelor Naţionale de Seniori la Sabie de pe TVR2 o ţinută din colecţia ``Gheişa´´ de Loredana Novotni. 
           Finalele Campionatelor Nationale de Seniori la Sabie  au fost organizate şi trimise în direct , pentru prima dată, într-un studio de televiziune, în cadrul unui show cu public. A fost o premieră în istoria televiziunii şi a sportului românesc la care au participat oameni de notorietate din sportul romănesc şi nu numai: Laura Badea, Octavian Morariu, Doina Melinte, Elisabeta Lipă, Ana Pascu, Mariana Bitang, Andreea Răducan, Ana Brînză şi alţii.

SHAPES OF THE SOUL

"Shapes of the Soul este o meditație asupra naturii sufletului și a formelor pe care acesta le poate întrupa. Este o meditație despre aparență și realitate, despre lucrurile care nu se văd dar se simt, este o coincidență a contrariilor și o reconciliere între aspectele antitetice ale existenței.Dincolo de fragilitatea sau duritatea exterioară, sufletele sunt legate între ele de aceeași esență divină și ajung la o armonie interioară, imperceptibilă in exterior din cauza formelor foarte variate și de multe ori contrastante (cum este cazul și in aceste imagini) pe care sufletul le poate lua."
